Bayang Coffee, grown in the Gayo Mountain region of Aceh, Indonesia, is known for its unique and distinctive flavour profile. The region has ideal conditions for coffee cultivation including rich volcanic soil, high elevation and a cool climate.
Our single origin, Bayang Coffee offers a unique and specific flavour profile unlike blended coffee. This allows the consumer to fully savour the taste that Bayang Coffee has to offer. The coffee’s origin-specific flavours and unique processing method give it a distinct taste that is not found in other coffees.
Another factor that makes Bayang Coffee unique is its high altitude. The coffee plants are grown at elevations of up to 1,500 – 5,000 feet above sea level in the northern region of Sumatra, which allows for a slower maturation process, resulting in more developed flavour compounds.
